2 years of consistent yoga practice and a dash of courage. 1 year of practice must be with Leela Yoga OR we will ask from a letter of recommendation from a teacher you have studied with for at least a year.

Join Leela Yoga for our prenatal yoga teacher certification and advanced studies program. Our program will emphasize deep connection with self, pregnancy, motherhood, and ways to support pregnant women and new mothers through yoga. The program will be taught over the course of 4 weekends.


Our program will include topics such as birth basics, yoga philosophy, prenatal nutrition, prenatal/postnatal psychology and anatomy, appropriate and beneficial asana, pranayama, sequencing, and meditation, business of yoga, and plenty of practice teaching.  


This program will be both an excellent foundation toward teaching prenatal yoga classes and a transformative advanced study intensive, while building a community of like minded people.

Participation and Other Considerations

100% participation required to qualify for teaching certificate in accordance with the certifying body: Yoga Alliance. Each module is highly specific, there are no scheduled make up dates. If a module is missed, student can make up that session by appointment at a rate of $100 per hour.

In order to provide the best experience possible for trainees, a minimum number of 8 trainees will be required to hold the training and we are capping the number of trainees at 12.  Registration will be first come, first serve. We recommend registering early to guarantee your space.

Required books, articles and other reference materials will be provided on first day of training.

Alternating weekends beginning Jan 13, 2018 through July 1 2018.  Fridays 6-9pm. Saturdays 1:30-8pm. Sundays 1-5pm. With additional hours to be completed in July 2018. Contact us for registration packet with exact dates.
